Got the car detailed yesterday by Bill (aka mazdaspeedster3) Sooo shiny now!
i need a new place to take pics other than my driveway. right now though, there are so many nice cars driving around i would feel silly taking pics of mine.

is that oil under your car? and the 8 has ugly wheels.
nope not oil,its a puddle of something not sure what is was but its all good it was there when i got there haha and yes they are ugly for sure

yeah it was from the last week of march, last photo taken of the car april i broke the rad and got it running in may just to blow the motor haha

no but i should start one, not sure why it did, well it didnt blow i spun the bearings in cyl#4 and it would have blown a bunch of holes haha so same block just forged internals

there was one guy who made a thread with the NA fs engine awhile ago
about how his engine blew because of his transmission jamming or something.
the point is that he tried pushing it home even with the tranny how it was and eventually heard a loud pop noise and the car died, popped the hood open and found oil everywhere.
people who knowingly drive in situations like that or flashing engine lights are beyond me. for you i suppose its just unlucky.
i'd never drive in a sit like that. 80$ for the tow does not equal 1200 for a new engine, or 2k if he can't install himself
damn that is crazy ill have to look for that thread, but i agree its so much cheaper to just tow it then to cause more problems, as soon as it made the loud ass noise it was making i shut it down and didnt touch it thats probably what saved a few holes in my block
haha this is my first protege and its been quite the ride haha had it sense june 07 and probably have only drivin it for about a year and a half if that haha
