Justin, yes! The wheels can go either way, but everything else looks amazing

I like the current look minus the stickers, i think with the amount of actual driving you do you will hate hearing the rubbing of tires to fenders.

I like the black wheels and removing the front badge and stickers. But don't slam her too much. Always looking good though, man. We'll have to do the OCC meet this year.

Evan, yeah definitely will be there if its happening.

Jon, I do somewhat agree, but atleast the front ends are different.

Biking, I definitely do drive a lot and on crappy roads. I am looking into coilovers for this year and that way I can pick my height and if I want it as low as in the pic for a few days I can, but then say I plan on going on a road trip I can raise her back up.

Tough decisions, the car has been in its current look for 3 years now. I am quite bored with it, not to mention the battle I will have with rust this winter. Hopefully we have time to tackle that crap.
I am picking up my friends old 03 ES though for $600, so 5-lug is happening this year too. Busy Busy

do you do your own alignments? every time i touch the height on the car i have to get one since it changes everything. More than likely you will set it at a height you like and never move them again, way too much work IMO.

picture since its a picture thread..

Not to mention coilovers tend to freeze up after exposure to the elements. Eventually it becomes more of a hassle than its worth to mess with ride height all the time. I have one set of coilovers for winter and one for summer. I leave the winters set where I like them and the summers dumped.

Firestone has a lifetime alignment deal. You pay something like $175 once and then you can align whenever for free

That's both crazy and sad. You should be able to adjust to change height, not fully change coils. Defeats the purpose. Wish that wasn't the case. You would be better off with struts and springs for winter

I have 2 sets of coilovers so I use both. My BCs don't raise high enough to qualify for winter use so I put my H&Rs on. Neither is frozen actually but it's easier to replace the whole strut when I change for the seasons. I still have the stock suspension too but it's too high for my liking and makes me crazy.

Ok, so I could keep the Tokico HPs and Eibach springs for winter/road trips and then coilovers set in one spot for some shows, crusing around, etc...

I get alignments for free at a friends work, so no worry on that

It all depends on how often you like taking your suspension apart and how long it takes you. I can completely swap suspensions in under 2 hours now and that's taking my time without the whole car on jack stands. Coilovers are a great investment for the adjustability and better ride compared to struts/springs. Unless you get shorter springs for the coilovers it isn't hard to raise the car up higher for trips. It's a pain to get everything leveled once you start messing with the collars though. That's another reason I set mine once and swap out for seasons.

PS. Recent pics. I'm not sure if they were already posted but w/e.

I have no problem taking the suspension apart. I would say the 2 Hours is about right, as long as the endlinks come out easily.

I would, but the previous owner had the passenger side resprayed after hail damage repair....and they painted with the moldings on, so that side would leave some terrible marks.
