Cool man I did the exact same thing a couple years back when I had my P5. What size bottle is that Crown bag from? I have a few of the 1L and a big 1.75L size bag and that one looks like it fits perfect.
Thanks! I used the largest bottle of crown, 1.75 ML. I tried the medium sized bottle but the bag wasn't wide enough to fit around the plastic shifter bracket. There is plenty of slack with the large bag. I cut a slit in the bottom, slipped the bag over the shifter, put the plastic bracket inside the bag, got the placement right and then screwed down the bag, I tied the bag off at the top of the shifter, cut the slack on the string, and then glued the knot. I added an extra washer to my shifter to make sure the bag didn't sag.

Whoa Strick, you and Circuit are running a close race for best wheel makeover... I'll start a poll, haha!

Lol...too funny. I'll run through a few current pics from throughout the process.

Thanks man. I've heard from a few other Bavaria guys that the car looks "off" with the old wheels and later bumpers... which is more or less their way of trying to convince me to go with the early bumpers. Don't get me wrong... I'd love to, but I'd have to sacrifice a working A/C system in order to do it. Not sure I want to jump on that yet.

Haha. You're right. In that car, I really don't. 4 windows down, vents open... it gets quite breezy in there. I'm just not quick to take out working parts for the sake of taking them out.
