lol im not used to seein more than 6 inches, id go crazy if i saw that much snow!!
I got an email from my mom saying that there's almost a foot sitting on the ground, waiting for me to come home. Ugh. It's rare to have that much on the ground, this early in the season. We usually don't get hit until mid January.

Reverse camber is cheating...it is fun though.
Ya, unfortunately I haven't gotten out much lately. My dude that I always boarded with moved out to Boulder a few years back and since I was out visiting him a couple years back, that was the last good boarding I've gotten.
The local offerings of "mountains" are pretty bad, lol. I only made it out to the local slopes twice last year... It's not even worth it for real. Just a lot of ice and crowded lines. The only black on the place closest to me is a straight down hill with a bunch of moguls that get kept like s***. The terrain park usually has like 2 boxes, 2 rails (one kinked) and a few kickers. Center has 2 bigger jumps, a rainbow and a set of stairs with rails on either side. Not a lot to offer. Granted I would probably break my ass if I tried to hit a rail right now anyways, haha.
I did have a s*** board that I would thrash on, but I shredded it a few years back and I don't get out enough to quantify spending much $$ on the stuff right now. Hopefully I'll be moving out west after I graduate next year. At least thats the plan. Sorta depends on the job situation, tho... lol
Nice, I ride a Burton Bullet. What does reverse camber mean on a board? Never heard of this...

Yeah man, Paoli peaks sucks and perfect north is the only place worth going but like you said man its just ice and crowds.

Basically all we ride is rails, except when we take trips elsewhere..

The best way to explain it is; if you set the board on a level ground, it will teeter-toter, setting the nose and tail off the ground. It allows you to flex the tips easier, good for park and fun in powder. All around it feels more like a skateboard

Who said anything about hills? Didn't see any mention of hills, lol. The term "urban snowboarding" doesn't really make me think of hills at all... You slid down stairs, you say? The rails beside the stairs are much more fun.
Getting pulled behind trucks is no good unless you have an old s*** board to thrash up. I broke my s*** board in half hitting a rainbow a few years ago, and I would def not want to take my current board on pavement. Regardless of how much snow is on the ground. And its not even that nice/expensive of a board... Not tryin to buy a new one.
Lunch trays are for getting pulled behind trucks.
you said drops, so i assumed hills. also, the stairs i am talking about were inside the dorms... not outside.

Im stoked. I hope the winter keeps up like this and makes up for the bad skiing conditions of last winter
