Okay guys, this next year I am planning on building an addition to my house, from a single carport to oversized three car garage and wanted to get some ideas. Post pics of your workspace for your car.

Heres mine

I don't currently have a place to work on my own car, but I'm planning on building a small (16'x24') two story garage in my backyard soon. This is about as big as I'm zoned for.

God I want a garage like that so bad! Very nice job on the floors especially. Very organized. Now all you need is a spare engine over there, a cherry-picker over here, a cylinder head on the bench, etc etc. So jealous.

Ha and those pics are OLD ... there is now a HUGE matching 2 door cabinet where the mops/brooms were and under the wall cabinets is another matching bench top but instead of 2 cabinets under it, we have 2 sets of drawers. The drawers are less wide than the cabinets so there is room for a stool under the bench top.

Then, on the side where that black lawn tool rack is seen (which is now in the shed) is a big black Craftsman box

damn you ppl who doesn't live in LA. ...outhere you are lucky to have a shack =p

subs for pics and ideas. my bf's backyard is huge, so i'm hoping once i move in next year we can work on expanding the 2-car garage a little ;)

Figured I'd share what I have now.

This is what I'm dealing with for now. The green represents existing and blue will most likely be the new addition. I might be adding a garage door in the back as well. I also want a large tub sink and of course a workbench with cabinets.

It's not much yet, but it (along with the house being attached) is being built. LOL

It's a side view of the 2 car garage, the sand being the garage floor.

I plan to do something similar to Protege5Gurly's
