wait so how does the DGM hood compare to the APC hood, is the APC hood that much uglier, or would it pass for a very decent hood, minus the fiberglass backing, I'm tjust talking about the weave look.

Avalanch is the work truck, Carbon Lights are rice, thanks for the comments though. BTW, the girl that I moved down here to be with broke up with me... BUT I LOVE MY LIFE!

the APC hood is not a true carbon fiber hood, its a composite. 1 layer carbon fiber, 2 layers of fiberglass. unfortunatley true carbon fiber hoods are more expensive as i sell them often and have seen many manufactures product lines. true carbon fiber hoods for the proteges are made by manufactures such as DG motorsports, Fiber Images, and Wingswest nopw makes an EVOlution hood for the protege as well. i will leave links for you to follow to make your own judgements i've had 2 different hoods one composite and 1 true and there is a quality difference than you can feel, and see. if you are intent on buying the cheapest thing you can find just to say you have it, i would say keep your money and put it to better use. if you are intrested in having carbon fiber hood for its most practical use and would like to purchase them i can get them drop shipped to you the EVO hood is not just available till the end of may for thos intrested but i am taking orders now so i have 1 for the shop vehicle, 3 reserved and am waiting on a few more sales before i commit to the total ordered.

pay close attention to the three videos provided at the lower left of fiberimages website for your entertainment. DO NOT try this with your APC hood. they wont give YOU a warranty good luck on your quests and drive safe

Same thing on the headlights? I painted the trim Black to make it more agressive. Altezza Lights are nonsense. They are not true "euro upgrades" and personally, the stock P5 taillamps are to die for.

the APC hood has a full fiberglass frame for support and on top of the frame is FULL Carbon Fiber -- its not layered CF/FG
