Possible to use Nissan Rogue rims? So close, yet so far

:
2015 CX-5 Touring
CX 5 has the following OEM wheel specs:
  • 17" x 7"
  • 67.1mm center bore
  • M12 x 1.5 threads
  • 50mm offset

The Rogue is aaaaaalmost identical. I can get a set of Rogue wheels for dirt cheap to use for winter tires. The Rogue threads are M12 x 1.25, but I don't think that's an issue - just use my Mazda lug nuts. Offset is 38mm - again, I don't think it's an issue, they'll just stick out an extra 12mm from the body panels. I'll be mounting 225/65r17 Blizzaks. But the center bore on the Nissan wheels is 66.1mm. One dang millimeter smaller. Any idea if it will fit on a Mazda hub? Or is there a DIY option? I can't think of anything that I could do myself that would insure a perfectly concentric center bore, other than taking it to a machine shop. But that would probably cost me more than buying a set of brand new OEM alloys direct from the dealer.

Thoughts?

You would need them machined the extra .5mm. Check local metal shops for quotes though, some places are cheap on those things. Others charge the standard labor/union fee.

I paid $50 a wheel for steel rims to mount on winter tires. The hassle of machining hardly seems worth it.

I have machined my Audi wheels(Chris, I will repaint them myself, when the heat goes away). It's a simple process, shouldn't cost to much. I'm a machinist though. There are no wheel spacers, with different bore diameter out there?

Just curious what dirt cheap is. You may be able to find something on CL or ebay or equal value and larger or same bore.

I can get the Rogue wheels for $50 for the entire set of 4. I've been checking CL every day or two for several weeks now and haven't found anything else promising. There are a couple guys with used OEM CX-5 wheels but they're asking $500+ for the set which is a bit ridiculous. That's nearly MSRP. They've both been posted for over a month with no sale yet. I wonder why....

Buying steelies new from Tire Rack is $70 each plus shipping. (over $300 total) so it's significantly more expensive than the Rogue wheels. I'll check with a couple machine shops but it seems unlikely to be cost effective.
