Possible incentives/deals for Memorial Day?

I happened to buy mine Memorial Day 2013 for a 2014. I had already been going back and forth negotiating the price and just happened to make the purchase on the holiday. Because I already had the price down low, had a Mazda loyalty and qualified for the lowest Mazda loan rate at the time (0.9% - 60 months, paid off in 18 months) there were no other incentives added. The one thing that impressed me the most is how two of the salesmen left a very busy lot to drive across town to pick up the CX-5 from a different Mazda dealer that had one matching the color and trim that I wanted.

Because there were so many people looking and buying that day it took a long time to work and wait my way through sales and loan guys availability. Plus I had to test drive again. It was just about a full day of being at the dealer. Probably would have been half of that time on a regular weekend and if they had the inventory.

I made my purchase on the very last day of May, last year. They were foaming at the mouth to make the sale that day, even though they didn't have the color I wanted on the lot, and the next day was a Sunday(they were closed). So, I had to wait until June 2nd to actually pick it up. But, they made sure they got the sale in on the last day of May.

You probably paid $200 to $300 in finance charges to setup the loan, probably still ahead at 0% for 60 months??

Last Labor Day sale, I was given the option of the 0% financing or an extra $1,000 off the price. There were no origination charges for the actual loan.

I can't remember the exact interest rates they otherwise were offering, they were between 3-4%. Using an online loan calculator, I would have paid about $1,625 in interest over the life of a 3% loan, or $2,200 for a 4% loan.

I obviously took the 0% financing :D

I've been lurking around this forum for a long time while learning from all you enthusiastic CX-5 owners. Now I'm ready to take the plunge and purchase my first Mazda in the next two weeks and hopefully take advantage of special Memorial Week rebates. Has anyone gotten any reliable information regarding when or if these rebates will return?

Two local dealers have confirmed there will be a special $500 cash rebate over this coming Memorial Day weekend. I'm planning on taking advantage of this incentive to purchase a 2016 CX-5 Grand Touring with Technology Package.

The dealer where I bought my wife's CX-9 last year and blew away everyone else's offer still has some 2015 CX-5's left. Anyone have any current info on how they are dealing those or without Mazda incentives are they not discounting them as heavily anymore?
