Ok I have posted on here before and done alot of research and I am back to square one.
First off let me tell you the cars info:
-2002 P5 w/ 93k AUTO Trans.
The noise I am having.... It comes in different forms.... ONLY at VERY low speeds like backing out of my driveway speed. If I park the car and put it in reverse and back up I hear like a popping/loud clunk noise mainly from the left side of the car. Thats the only time it happens. Never while regular driving....just pulling out or going back and forth in my driveway.
So I had a good friend of mine look at it and he told me he used to work for a mazda dealer and told me my differential is binding up and making the noise.
Has anyone ever heard of this or run into this problem? I just want a second opinion before I dump a ton of money to fix this car.
I have replaced the front control arms, axles, link pins, and the outer tie rod ends and the noise is still there. THIS CAR IS DRAGGING ME UNDER!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!
