This 10" sub can be used IB for midbass duty as well.

I haven't seen the space behind the front door panels, but this would be a strong consideration for a subless system. It has a shallow 3" mounting depth, so no problems there.
It would only be used for midbass duty, 50Hz-200Hz or so.
Then a full range or midrange/tweeter combo in the dash.
Obvious door dampening would be needed.
