you don't need an FMIC to run higher boost, not from that T25 turbo anyways. A fuel pump would help a little, but don't forget that the MSP's ecu, like all Protege ecus, runs both open and closed loop modes and tries to micromanage your fuel maps - i.e. you might have the ecu cut back your fuel if it sees you trying to run too rich. The fuel pump would be worthless if the ecu did not allow it to deliver gas to the engine.
Your turbo is not going to "blow itself up". Your engine will go kablooey long before anything else will - take it from me, I've blown my stock engine running higher than recommended boost.
I do not think that at 11 psi from that turbo that you will need stronger internals (rods, pistons, crank, et al.) Mazdaspeed has publicly stated that the Protege's internals are solid up to 250 horsepower. 11 psi on the MSP will not bring you anywhere near 250 so there is nothing to worry about there.
