Ported or otherwise modified turbos

Who has modified their stock turbo and cares to talk about it?
Can it easily be ported without screwing anything up? I noticed the other day how thick the metal is around the compressor outlet, it seems this could be widened significantly.
Also, what are the options for different turbine or exhaust wheels on the stock turbo, and how easily can that be done? What advantages can be had(quicker spool, more flow on top end, etc.)?

So what tools did you use for the WG? Just dremel style? Why not use the same on the compressor?

Dremel. It took me a while with the small bit I have. I couldn't find a bigger bit in Home Depot by me.

Here's my T-25. Probably alittle different than yours, thanks to MpNick.

So basically the compressor housing and wheel have been replaced?
What's the difference between going that route and just getting a GT28rs? What is the stock trim on our turbos?

The compressor housing has been milled out. A new compressor wheel is installed. Looks completely stock from the outside...hehe.
Its cheaper, spools up exactly like stock, and has been proven at 330whp at 15psi (with other mods.) However the GT28rs will still make more power.
I have no idea.
