Here in Seattle, nearly all P5s seem to be silver, though I'm starting to see several midnight blues on the road... even my neighbor has one! But mine is thus far the only one with polished rims. I will occasionally see a yellow and I cross paths with a laser blue every morning (we always wave, causing my wife to roll her eyes and call me a dork). Hardly ever see red.

I really wanted yellow, but I feel the same way protejay does, wouldn't want to be sick of it in a year.

I don't know, I don't think I'll ever get sick of my Yellow. I was never a fan of yellow cars and when looking at cars it didn't even cross my mind. But the P5 adds had it in yellow and I test drove the yellow and it had a hold on me.
I just passed a year and I still look at it and say "damn! sweet!" to myself.

I mean, it's really just personal preference, but my preference changed with this car. I think they did an awesome job picking this shade of yellow. Most yellow cars I had noticed before usually have a very washed out yellow and still do. I like our deep yellow.

Oh yeah, and in the city where I work, Stamford, CT, I know that there are 2 other Yellow P5s that also work here - I've seen them around.

I agree, the yellow is much nicer than the washed-out sunflower yellow (or whatever it's really called) that the WRX comes in.

I completely agree. The only car I thought looked good in yellow was a Porche 911. Then I saw a P5 in Vivid Yellow! I was floored.

I always find myself comparing the Mazda yellow to other car companies yellow. So far, the only ones that come close are the Mercedes-Benz and Chevy yellows. All the other ones (VW, Sooby, & Ford especially) look like canaries driving down the road.

so many yellow supporter , i got a question for u, the only hold back for me not to get a yellow car:

yellow is eye cathcing, too eye-cathcing... if there is only one on the road it looks cool!
but are there are too many of them on the road now ?
imagine 2 yellow mp5 driving side by side... it catched your attn. and you probly think... this must be a cheap car... 2 person driving it at the same time.

it probly wont cross ur mind if it is another colour.

finally, in the greater toronto area here, i see 2-3 yellow mp5 per day going to / off work.

I'm in the south side of the Seattle area and every time I see another yellow MP5 I can't help but grin. Seeing a few more yellow ones around here just lets me know I have good taste. But in all honsety, I could care less if there are too many yellow ones on the road. Picking out a car and it's color are personal choices and what other people have/think doesn't come into my decision to buy.

I've had nothing but compliments from total strangers with this color. It really makes the car stand out.

Deep down all mazda colors look good on this car.

The only yellow one I have seen has been sitting on my dealer's lot for a month. . .along with an Orange MSP and two Black MSPs...if you guys are looking for them come to Norwood, MA! My sales rep today (when I went in for an oil change) that they can't get them off the lot because Mazda delayed them too long.
