popped ur hood lately?

okay, this is one of the most annoying things. Your cruising around see another decked out car, ya both pull over ya start looking over there car, have them pop the hood, and i be dayumed dust bunnies dirt road grim all over that new stuff they just put in... why cant ppl seem to keep there engine bay clean. There is nothing more annoying then seeing that.

But here's the kicker for me anyways, they walk over to my car, i pop the hood and i be dayumed, looks like my car has never been driven..

do dirty engine bays annoy anyone else?

well, i try to keep mine clean, but i dont think its quite THAT clean

very simple remedy man....

b4 i wash my car i pop my hood spray it down with tirefoam, i know i know sounds lame. your engine bay looks like a kanolie (sp). anyways drop ur hood wash ur car like u normally do, then right b4 u finish pop the hood agian and spray off the excess. drop the hood agian and walla your done. Stays clean for about two weeks b4 starting to look kinda crummy.

there are some negetives to doing it my way.
i heard that tirefoam will eat through rubber hosing EVENTUALLY, considering im preplacing all the rubber/ plastic piping im not to worried about this.

other downside is that ur engine bay is slippery. i went to check a vacuum line and i grabbed the tower strut and it was slick lets say i almost did a face plant into the engine cover LOL.. but still looks super clean for shows.

This is a crappy pic, but I like to keep my engine bay clean, too.

I just hit it with some simple green, let it soak for 10 min or so, & spray it off.

very nice egg, was messed up i pulled this srt-4 over, guy had it less than two months and engine dust was fanominal and hell looked like he had never washed it, something i also noticed about the srt 4 is the left exhaust hangs down and sticks out further than the right, now theres dodge for ya.. cant even hang an exhaust right anyways, just hate seeing a dirty engine bay....

when you guys are washing down your engine bay, do you ever have any issues with water getting into electronics? i like to put plastic bags over the electrical stuff, but that takes ages to do, and thats why i dont clean my engine bay as often as i should

what perforamnce mods do you have installed with that dyno? it says your sig is outdated so im assuming you still dont have cams in yet
