$500... That's a little high seeing how the original price was around 325 from pope himself.. Might try close to that if u want people to bit on it

The demand for those is very high and offer is low, so 500$ is fair for someone who's desperate IMO.

Actually the demand isn't all that high, bc if I remember correctly someone took over popes casting... And idk know the price that other vendor is offering, but they are still able to be had...

That's a hefty premium for a used pope downpipe.

I want to see if the demand is that high for this, free bump!

The price is fine.. I'd pay it if I didn't already have one. Let's be serious, this is one of the best mods ever produced for the Protege and is likely to give you the most power per dollar compared to any other mod we have available. Plus it has the flex section and an additional O2 bung for your wideband.

And if someone has taken over Pope's castings, they haven't done anything with them (not yet at least) cuz it's not like you can go and just buy one any time you're up for it. So I would say that the very few remaining pipes have every right to be priced more than they were originally purchased for, the same is happening with Steedspeed manifolds and Perrin/Turbolife FMICs.

Anyway, bump for a great item and good luck to the seller!

I'd say with the extras that are on this DP and the rarity of it the price is a great start for an excellent piece. I wouldn't sell mine for less and mine is just stock no bungs, no coating.

GLWS

not a bad price at all, especially for a discontinued piece (for now) and with all the little extras on it already. GLWS

sell 5cents bump XD

i was looking into ebay downpipes flange and asking local exhaust specialist to do it, iguess the labour would be very high for just making 1 downpipe, unless i ask for more and share the labour cost with few local msp owner

otherwise i think the Pope price is acceptable here except its used XD
