Pretty simple idea, the theory is we get rid of seperate state forums and make it a single NW forum. important threads would all be moved, and condensed. Antoine requested that we post a poll and see what the majority thinks before we make it happen.
One downside isthat any existing links be they form search engines or just saved in ppl's browsers/links on webpages, etc to threads in the current state-forums would be broken. The bonus isthat it keeps the forum hopping to a minumum, the NW mazda scen is pretty sprawled out as-is I figure having it bunched together things'll be easier to keep tabs on for everyone. no more need fo feel gulty double-posting, etc.
Another option might be to attempt to form a NW mazda club of sorts. Antoine informed me that he would gladly host a club forum for us on this site. I feel this might be a cool option, but First it would require a bit more unity which I think could be helped along by first (and soon) cutting down on the need to jump arond to communicate with everyone. My general feeling sithat were we to make a seperate club forum and leave the current state ones active, it would likely go unused, and we would stick to our current comfort zones, but it is another option available to us.
Recent events like our Mt st helens meet have really brought this issue to light. We really are one big group, I don't see a need to have to hop between forums to findout what's goingon All 3 states were represented in front of the volcano, whynot inhere?
