Polar A3 heart rate monitor

Hey all you fitness people out there my dad tried to change the battery in his polar A3 and now it doesn't work he brought it to me with a couple extra pieces and said here fix it please... i would but i have no idea how it is supposed to back together does anyone have this or a similair model? and can you see how the battery is captured in the back of the recieving unit (the watch looking thing)

these 2 pieces have me stumped.

Do they possibly have a picture on their website? You know the blow-apart diagram that shows all of the parts?

nah they dont have anything on their site for this model... i looked at other models as well and they were of no help...

Better late than never.

The silver colored part is what holds the battery down. Once you remove that part, that battery can be taken out.

Once you take the battery out, you should see a brass colored area with 2 small holes in it. The brass part goes into the 2 holes. The way it is sat in the picture is the way it is inserted into the 2 small holes.
