po660 vics/vtcs solenoids

after putting on a 626 mani i got this code and was curious if there is a way to trick the solenoids into thinking theyre plugged to something so the code will go away. any ideas or am i going to have to put on the stock intake mani just for inspection?

I have the VTCS removed on my car and just left the solenoid in place and plugged in without any vacuum lines on it. Haven't had a CEL once.

yeah i had mine hooked up with no vac line on for a year with cel....i suppose the sensor itself is bad

Switch them around and see what happens, they are the same.
