I hope this link can stay.
Blaupunkt has an amp with an honest 4 channels @55watts + 1 @200 watts that plugs into the factory wiring harness with an available adapter.
It isn't cheap, but how much easier can you get? They call the series of amps their Plug and Play line. They sell car specific adapter harnesses and there is one for our cars. I only checked for the Bose system, but it is listed for it. Great for leased vehicles or anyone who doesn't like messing with wiring.

500 bucks and I have to run new speaker wires ? Not EXACTLY 'plug and play', is it ? I realize most people that buy this would probably installing high-end speakers as well but I would like to see an adapter for using OEM speakers.......THAT would be truly 'plug and play' !

It looks like a nice piece, though.......

It plugs into the factory harness. You don't have to run anything, unless you want to upgrade the wiring.

I think the factory harness should be okay for 55 watts, although it certainly wouldn't hurt to upgrade.

The link you posted states:

"You'll need to run speaker wire from your amp to your speakers. It's priced per foot, so enter the number of feet you need on the Cart page."

Speaker Outputs: the removable speaker terminals (front/rear/sub) will accept bare wire up to 12 gauge; once the speaker terminals are removed, either of the PnP extension cables will plug directly into the amp to integrate the speaker output with the factory wiring

It also draws power from the factory wiring? Can that handle it?

Don't know the wire gauge in the car off hand. If it isn't heavy enough, you have the option of running a new supply and ground and using everything else factory. They really covered all the bases.
