Plug Boot Stuck

#4 cyl plug boot end came off of plastic rod & is stuck down in plug hole. Runs OK for now, but can't change plugs w/out getting boot out. How do I get it out?

Dealer wants $50 for the one wire. RockAuto wants $30 for a set of two. Where can I get just one? Can I just replace one or do I now have to replace all for equal electrical transfer.

30 isnt bad, I would replace the coils and boot.
but I am sure if u sprayed Pb blaster on it u would be fine. Worst case scenario buy the new one cut the old one out.

Pliers? Spend the $30 and get new ones IMO.

yeah try a thin small screwdriver to break the seal all the way around, maybe with a little grease. Then needle nose. Don't waste too much time - you can pull the valve cover and be done with it.

x2, don't even waste time trying to pull it out with pliers, just going to break...be done with it and take off the valve cover, it will come right out...if you need a spare I should have some...$8 shipped each...I assume you need the one on the bottom of the coil pack...

+1 i've always used long pliers in this situation without ever running into additional problems.

This just happened to me. Long needlenose and you'll be good.

Did you glue and reuse, or get new.
If new, where did you buy?
