Plug and Play Xenon Bulbs

so is that a "go" for the hyper whites from luminics?
well ive heard good and bad. i didnt use luminics, never have. the good is that they provide EXCELLENT light output. the bad is that their bulbs have been known to expand/bubble or blow up. there are people who have had nothing but problems with luminics and people who have never had a problem with them. personally i wouldnt get luminics, id go to autozone or any performance car parts place (they usually carry these bulbs) and get you a pair of h7 4000k bulbs for like $20.
APC makes them. i cant find the box for the brand i have now, it was somethin different but they work great. if i find it, ill be sure to share the brand name with you

my luminics bulbs exploded catastrophically, sending glass all over the inside of my headlight housing and I had to take off the front bumper and bake the headlight and repaint it :P

hm...maybe i'll just order the yellow ones from them and get the low beams at the store.

I wouldn't bother with anything for the high beam bulbs, for high beams you want the most light output possible so just stick to clear glass bulbs.

Toshiba's HIR bulbs offer 50% more output than the stock 9005s and come recommended by Daniel Stern himself. Check out http://www.hirheadlights.com/ for a description. DS recommends using 9011 bulbs and trimming the base so they fit in the 9005 socket--filament location/dimensions are identical.

Yeah I've been meaning to buy the HIR bulbs for my high beams. They're cool bulbs.

theres a few places up here in nc that sells them for $20-25. ive gotten them from a performance shop in my area and at a stereo shop that i work at that happened to have a set of H7 4000Ks layin around. i guess all i can tell you is to look around at a few places that you think might sell headlight bulbs, cuz the ones you get from places like autozone are gonna be expensive.
ill try to remember to take a picture of my lights tonight so you can get an idea of the output.
