with alot of negative camber im sure you could do it. you wil just need new tires all the time
Hey guys, I really appriciate all the responses to this thread.
714ms3:
The reason I want the R's versus the F's is because of the way the R's lean inward, I just think that is the absoult sexsiest look on a rim, it gives it such a stance that you just don't get with the F's.... The F's do look nice with out a doubt but it's just not the same.
I`ll get different tires for it hopefully in the 225/40-35 or 235/40-35 range. I`ll have to do a ton more research on this though because there seems to be a pretty strong yes and no opinion come from everyone.
So off the top of my head here is what I`m thinking:
18 x 9.5 5 x 114.3 +30 W/ 235/40 tires rolled fenders (I`m not planning on lowering the car at all so no worries there) What do you guys think: Yes or no?
Thanks again it means a lot to me that you guys take the time to help a complete stranger!
OP, there is also a wheel out there made by ASA which is very similar to the Rotas, and one from Kazera (same company).
ASA:

Kazera:

See how you like that. I have seen the ASA's in person and they are pretty damn nice. All you would need to do is have them powdercoated your fav. colour.
You asked... They will fit.
215 on a 9.5 is not that crazy of a stretch, the 240 guys do that all the time
here is a 225 on a 10.5 wheel

That is so retarded and unsafe!!!
If you can't afford the correct size tire for your wheels, why get them that wide?
Utter stupidity!!!!(headshake
its not that they cant afford the tires. people do this to fit larger wheels on a car then normally can fit. that wheel probably fits on a stock fender S13 240sx with 3 degrees negative camber and a bunch of other suspension mods.
also less sidewall flex helps when you drift.
