Please post pic of aftermarket hoods

Hi Iam thinking of getting an aftermarket hood for my mp5 and can't really decide which one to get. Currently Iam leaning towards the Xcelerated Concepts Vent carbon fiber hood on protegegarage, but I want to know what other options do I have. Well so please post any pics you have. Thanks in advance.

Definitely a nicer pic than the one on protegegarage. Once again this is one of the nicest hood I've seen for our cars.

You are getting a new hood? Does that mean you are going to sell your old VIS hood? If you are, let me know. I guess that would be another option for me. I know I would enjoy saving on shipping cost. I think it cost what, $150 or so to ship these?

yes i will probally be selling my hood. I will let you know! My car should be running again by the middle of August so i will try to organize a meet towards the end of august!

I don't know if I'll still be here by that time. I got an offer in Florida so I'll be working there for 6 months or so. Well my home is here so we should still have chances to meet in the future if we don't this time.

For those of you who have installed an aftermarket hood, what did you do with the windshield washer? Do you simply leave them out? Thanks.

some companys will drill them for you or you just drill them yourself

left mine out. I think in the 2 years ive gone without them ive only needed them once or twice.

i'm glad i ran into this thread, seeing how i'm in the market for buyin a new hood, but havin hard time decidin between Vis Evo and Xcelerated Concepts, my friends think Evo would look better were i'm leanin towards XC, these pics sure help (i just heard few probs with Vis hoods fading quick, n i do live in da desert lols, didnt hear any bad things about XC)
