Planning stage for summer project and or short end mods

Notice: I AM A COMPLETE NEWBIE ...still
So i was checking up on the aftermarket for the 6i, which is what i have. now i really just want to get into the upgrading wave and learn about cars. i saw some mods i might eventually do
AARP head stud kit
Tein lowering springs
New LuK clutch
the carbon grill
Eagle forged rods
exhaust
highflow cat

so questions

1.id have to take out or take apart the block to install rods and stud kit right?

2 Installing the lowering springs without any other mods for the suspension is ok right? or are there necessary supporting mods?

3. Where can i find a nice carbon grill that will be high quality and look nice on my blue six?

4. Know anything about the LuK clutch?

5. Where can i find a highflow cat for my 6? i was stumped couldnt find one.

6. As far as exhaust goes, could i purchase an exhaust off of ebay that might look identical to the magnaflow and be fine? or is it necessary to get the real deal?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

- I would recommend it that way. The stud kit can be done without taking the engine out, but you would have to take off the cylinder head, which is about 4 bolts from taking out the entire engine.

Lowering it a bit, and the stock shocks should be able to handle it (less than 1 inch). Anything lower, new shocks/struts/dampers (all the same thing) are not required, but recommended. Plus, any lower than 1", and dyou may run into problms with driveaxles. I had a lowered civic, and I was going through drive axles one a month.

5. Where can i find a highflow cat for my 6? i was stumped couldnt find one. www.Summitracing.com might have one.

There is no need for rods/pistons and head bolts unless you plan on going turbo/supercharger/nitrous (not all the same thing). Save the five grand, and buy yourself a second car to make into a racer.

And, if this car is not a manual, there really is no point in trying to make it a racer. Intakes and exhaust add nice sounds, but not really huge performance gains.

thanks for your help i was definatly planning on doing the exhaust and intake (i have a short ram that threw a cel and i cant get it to stop) and so i will probably just buy the external grill mod and then maybe lowering to kill the wheel gap and some rims maybe.
