planning on lowering

No! HPs are not the same as MSP struts!

1. Different valving (HPs are tighter)
2. Different rear spring perch location.

Editing previous post for clarity.
ok, but unfortunately we cannot get msp or mp3 blues anymore, so the closest to them are the hps

im gonna order the tokico HP series springs and shocks right now.

so i should get them around end of the week, install hopefully on tuesday...

ok so i ended up buying the racing beat cat back exhaust instead.

i want more time to learn the ins and outs of the different suspensions before i commit. i didnt get the tokicos, because i didnt want my rear end to be lower then my front end, and i didnt want to spend more 580 dollars on racing beat springs and tokico struts without first learning about them.

im going to do all the reading i can, ask as many questions, but in the mean time, ill get my exhaust on, and i want to blackout my headlight bezels.

that should keep me busy...

i just got my car lowered with eibach's with the msp rims. it looks so sick right now.

i got them installed from my mechanic and i dont think the white dots on the struts are not at the right spot. is that a big deal? would that effect anything?

Yes, it affects the alignment. There are four positions for front camber/caster adjustment. The location of the dots indicates this.

well what does the white dot do? so its just a mark to put the strut back in the same spot when you take it out? well technically, if you do not put the dot in the same spot and you are planning to get a alignment, it doesnt matter where to dot is. it just saves you a trip to get aligned right?

There are four positions, the dot indicates which position it's in. You should get an alignment a little while after lowering, but the camber/caster is not the only thing examined when you get an alignment. It's explained here.

P5's share the same suspension as other 3rd gen Proteges with rear disk brakes (except the MSP and MP3), so it should work at least for those. Don't know about other Proteges.
