Place to live near Salem

Hey looks like I'm Oregon bound come August 1. I will be heading to Willamette U. School of Law and living in or around Salem. Any leads on places to live around the area. I have a couple friends in Corvallis though I'm looking to stay pretty close to keep down mileage and the $45 no-self-service fills (its gonna take some getting used to to have someone else pump my gas...)

any ideas or leads? thanks in advance

Hey are you going to live in salem or around the area.... If so they cruse the downtown area.. Some people meet up and race or drift there is some fast car in salem...

I didn't know anything happened there at all. I went there to look at some schools and such but it seemed really small to me. Of course I didn't explore things that much but overall it appeared that I was in for quite a change...

Are you going to school in salem or in eugene.... If you are going to salem do not live on lancaster side of town your car will get mess with... The cops can be ass (moon) but its all good you will find a place up there.... I go up there alot so I will keep and eye out for you.... (p5black)

well I think I might have found a place. its called the Lee Apartments ( www.leeapartments.com ) and a Studio is going to run me ~$400 a month... anyone heard of it (good or bad) or have any bearing on whether or not its a good price?

I should be up there August 1 (after 1902.1 miles of driving ) it'll be hard not to spot me, I'll post a pic later on...

That cool (yippy) I have not heard about them .That part of salem is that studio apt in? ... I hope it is in the good side of town... That's the good thing of living in salem, woodburn is 20 min away , north it has a good drag race track... It is the legal drag.. Alot of pros go there like top fuel to import cars.. The next import race is coming up soon... I think it is on the 18 of this month.... (p5black)

well I dont know how much $ you want to spend on rent but.... I live in keizer in some duplexes which is right next to salem it would be like a 10 minute or less drive to Willamette U. my rent it $630 a month they are 2 bed 1 bath with a 1 car garage. water and garbage and landscaping are paid for. located on 2 privet streets
