I just got my AEM intake on thursday and installed it. Went on easy except the filter was a little difficult to get on the tube.
Friday I get home from work and I pop the hood to check that all the conections are still intact. :wtf: I look and what do I see my air filter sitting on the botom of the engine bay. Then I look at the intake tube and the flange from the filter and hose clamp are are still on the intake tube... I e-mailed AEM and we will see if thay take care of me...
Here are a couple of pics..

damn that really sucks....must have been a fluke that made it through the production line....

I looked like a good filter so as long as thay make good and replace it or give me the money to buy a k&N filter I will be happy./members/upstop/filter-flange.jpg

Well I did drive over to kragen without a filter. I felt it would be OK since the tube faces the ground. I got to kragen and all they had was an APC filter the kid that worked there told me that it was realy good (looks to me like a pice of crap). I needed a filter so I bought it, I will return it when I get a new one though...
