~Piranas MSP udpadte pics~

Well as you said in an earlier post the mirrors would either be loved or hated. They aren't for me, but otherwise you have a beautiful msp. Keep up the good work. I think you are about ready for a forged motor so you can really have some fun!!

Vic,

Very nice car you have there! I'd like to note that you can take the black tape off of the door pillars and all around. It's painted the same color as your car under the tape. Also, I think the rear is too low.

Good day.

Nice, lookin good as always man. I was contemplating on getting a pair of mirrors like that from APR but not sure now. Did you get those from APR?

HOT AS EVER! I HATE YOU! ;)

What brand are those mirrors? I have been thinking of going with a APR universal kit for a while, but those are made for the Protege, right?

ive always liked ur msp dude. ur tuckin quite abit back in the rear. not so much in the front though. it sits level from the body stance but not on the wheel well side of things. but still awesome.

The car looks beautiful. More info on the wires please. Not feeling the mirrors. Btw they are all over ebay for those that keep asking.

Hehehe, there are a lot of response to the car and I really appreciate them all, including the ones about the mirrors....I knew they would create a stir....I did break down and bought the cheap ones on eBay, I wasnt about to spend $400 on a set by APR and hack them down to fit and then dont like them....so this ones served my purpose to see them installed in the car and basically were not expensive at all....I must say I do love them and would not take them off, they are an attention getter, either good or bad they do bring attention, and thats why the car is modified, to stand out over the Civics and Eclipses (too many of them). They where pretty hard to get used to them, it took me about 2 days to figure them out, but they are a very wide angle and work just fine...what the hell THEY ARE SWEET!!!! :D

Regarding the Nology wires, I really cant tell if they are worth their money on performance, since there are too many upgrades to really tell, but again they look sweet and compliment the look of the engine bay...I bought the MSP kit and reconfigured the bracket to install on the strut tower, very easy.

I must say the car is running great...only 8psi, but its freaking fast. I gauged its performance by running against a modified 350z and just walked him. Next week I will have a dyno plot and hopefully by summer, I will have the forged internals, injectors and new tune and running about 12psi, hopefully that will be enough .

Overall I'am extremely pleased with the car, speacially when EVO owners come and droool over it (just happened tonight).

nice car as usual.
I do not like the mirrors, too small. Great otherwise.
On a sidenote, how do you guys have such an engine bay?
I cannot even get mine cleaned with the degreaser. The hoses and plastic don't want to leave the mud and dirt.
Maybe my next car will have a cleaner bay.:)

2 words....Simple Green....I live with it. And I drive my car everyday, including on thunderstorms....

I used and it did not do anything.
Maybe I do not use properly but the previous owner of my msp went on the mud a lot and the bay was really dirty.
I am also afraid of washing the engine too much because I am not sure if water damages the belts.
Anyway, great car.

Well, I havent had any problems with water and engines...although I do not pressure wash the engine bay...I use the SG when the engine is cold (hot can stain and also crack manifolds etc) then use a soft brissle brush to clean the areas needed. Rinse and repeat, after a couple of washes it should return to its shinning glory...my MSP was used also and not very clean, but its turned around by now.

Maybe I shouldnt post this pic of the mirrors....:D

Not bad for your every day driver...

Jesus man I love your MSP. Gonna go w/the green takata goodness? Would look good with those seats. Too bad you have to have that front plate... god bless FL for only needing a trunk plate.

alot of cars here in texas have only one plate in the rear but if cops are dicks they will write a ticket for not having one upfront... I got pulled over bout 12 times for speeding and got speeding tickets on half but only one for not having a plate up front... cop was a punk...
