you didnt have those spark plug wires last time i saw your car... with the braided grounding wires.. or did it?

Yeap, I figure that if I'am going to be loitering anyway in the car hangout places, then might as well have the plate so I can only get one ticket...its not drilled, so when I take it off, the bumper still smooth.

And the Nology wires were just added this week. (naughty)

wowza... ya got me beat. i'm out. you have the new title... my car is getting parted out starting next week.

Well, I havent had any problems with water and engines...although I do not pressure wash the engine bay...I use the SG when the engine is cold (hot can stain and also crack manifolds etc) then use a soft brissle brush to clean the areas needed. Rinse and repeat, after a couple of washes it should return to its shinning glory...my MSP was used also and not very clean, but its turned around by now.

Maybe I shouldnt post this pic of the mirrors....:D

Pirana, since you know what you are doing, I bought a brush and I was wondering what is exatly your tecnique.
You use a bucket of water, a brush and simple green.
Do you spray simple green on the engine first or water and SG?
How do you wet the engine? hose or bucket?
sorry about the questions but i cannot believe how clean is that engine

please do tell, i have to get my bay ready for HIN!

I just spray the simple green into the dry engine compartment...cold engine compartment. I wait about 3~5 minutes, depending on weather conditions...dont let it dry, but you want to wait enough for the product to do its job....then I use a soft-brissle brush to lightly scrub in between the engine parts, ie battery tie-down, headlight covers, intake manifold, etc....then I hose it down with some pressure from the garden hose, not a pressure washer like the car wash ones. In order to prevent stains, then I air dry it with compress air...now this can be difficult for some people, but I have seen it done with a leaf blower, just to remove the big water spots. Towel dry, and in order to restore some of the vibrant colors of hoses, etc, I use very little WD40 it shines them, protects them, and next time you wash, dirt just falls of them.
