dropzone springs: 1.4 inch drop front, 1.4 inch drop rear. Slightly more of a drop than the H&R. Cost is only $86 on ebay, they work great at almost 1/3 the price of the H&R:

haha, naw man i own stock in some other companies, but ebay honestly has great deals, i am beginning to become partial to cragislist as well.

I have bought 5 sets of springs on ebay and have never had any issues.

As for these dropzones, I installed a set over a year ago on my wife's jetta rated at 2.0 drop front and rear and the car had no camber issues, no uneven wear, no rough ride, no blown shocks, it rides straight and smooth! So i figured I'd give these a shot for my speed3 as 1.4 fdrop front and rear is less than the jetta drop and her car held up for over a year so why wouldn't the speed3? I know H&R are nice, yet the dropzones give just as good of a drop at almost 1/3 the price. I would recommend them to anyone if they wanted to try them out.

I've always been told that the much of the cost in a set of springs is the material used. Cheap springs = poo metal.

hells yeah you two. Im not saying H&R is crap or anything or that the price is ridiculous.

I am simply stating that I put a set on my wife's car and after over a year everything is perfectly fine. SO I assume that it will be just as good on my car as the drop isnt even as much and her shocks, tires, camber are all fine.

after the dropzone springs went in and settled, I went in for an alignment and it was still in spec all around so nothing needed to be done they said

Yeah when I was looking at springs.. I wanted something lowered the car more than the .5" or 1" from OEM. Just couldnt bring myself to pay over 100.00 for something that didnt really look like it did anything to the car. But thats just me though. Im pretty picky with things. I got Eibach Sportlines and they lower the car 1.8 front and back. The S techs I believe is a full 2.0" all around. The sportlines are a very stiff spring with little to no ride comfort. So keep that in mind if you would like to keep some ride comfort.

Be aware that springs will make your shocks go bad faster........get some koni yellowz while ur at it. Thats the only reason I am waiting to do springs.
