So they are testing the flash on a car that is not stock? That does not make sense. It has a MBC, which most people say cures 99% of the hesitation anyways, and a more effiecient IC? That just does not make sense.
Vega- i only said chill cause the post above me was filled with anger. i'm up for discussion. maybe you took my post the wrong way. i was only saying that the test car only has a different IC and not a MBC, so you guys still didn't think that Mazda was testing a non-stock car. i was just trying to clear up any confusion the MBC was causing.
jeremeyfl- dr. sound explained perfectly the how the Joe P kit works. it was not designed to cure the hesitation, but it happens to help on most of the MSP's.
the flash will allow the engine to run smoothly throughout the powerband without running rich, therefore making the Joe P kit useless to anyone who ONLY wants it for the hesitation issue.
Cool, I seem to be wrong about the MBC, as I should have said "it appears" but I still can't tell what that valve if for. There does seem to be a hose from the BOV that travels over the airbox to behind the headlight area.
yea, that brass valve caught my eye but if you look closely near the intake compressor of the turbo(where the wastegate is) there is a black object that has a line going down towards the WG. if you follow that, it hooks up to another black box on the valve cover along with other lines. like you i'm confused as to where all the lines are going, but i don't see any hoses that connect to both the DV and WG, oh well.....
