I'm looking to see where the oil feed line is sourced from for the turbo.
I'm having a hell of a time finding a proper oil Feed line that will bolt up to the Gt28RS and the stock oil feedline. The stock oil feed line has a Male end that goes into the female opening on the turbo. All the restrictors I've found are male on both ends. It also doesn't help that I can't figure out what the actual thread and size is on the oil line. I actually find almost what I was looking for on E-bay but as soon as I tried to get it on the cheap aluminum threads started stripping. I'm thinking the threads might have been wrong but who knows.

This is what I bought for the restictor itself, didn't need the filter
Cheap e-bay restrictor

I'm thinking this is what I need, but am not sure of the threading??
ATP restictor

I'm thinking about just swapping the whole line out to something more universal!!! But can't seem to see where it connects in the back

Thanks Jen!!
I wonder how that connects back there if it's the same way as the front??
Now if I could just find out what size and thread type I'm dealing with I'll be good to go.

It T's off the stock oil pressure sender. It's a male end back there too.

Pics are from the MSM Turbo install PDF.

Thanks for the info and pics.
Just because I have an MSP doesn't mean I've been up under the intake mani. I've touched almost evey other part the this damn car I just couldn't see where that damn line ended

Hey Jen,
Is you line the stock set-up?
I just came back from a speed shop and the guy ran this cool Snap-on Snake camera back there to follow the oil line and it looks like it connects with a Banjo fitting to the stock oil pressure sender. Yours looks like it goes directly into the block.

It looks like I'm going to have to replace the entire oil line just to install a damn oil restrictor going into the turbo.
I can't figure out why they don't make a 1/4 invertered flare maleside and 1/4 inverted flare female side restrictor.
The MSP can't be the only car using a male 1/4 inverter flare oil feed line???

you want to modify your car and have done so, what is making you so lazy in getting under the car yourself to look at it and why you have never done so to begin with?

hard to believe you never even changed your own oil

I have changed my own oil multiple times and have done of the work on my myself!!!
I just can't seem to get to the damn oil line in back. It's kind of hard without a lift having to work on the ground in a Chicago Alley.
Anyways....
I'm really just looking for the correct sizes for the fittings. I've ordered several and nothing fits. I've even taken the extra turbo to fitting only places to see what fits.
I've been told this several different threads. The last one says 1/4 inverted flare but the fitting places don't agree

if you changed your oil many times, there's no excuse why you haven't seen how the oil line hooks up back there!

good job, you're learning by getting your hands dirty!
sorry I couldn't help you because my stock s*** WORKS FINE

how is that a reason you couldn't help? better to be a dick than say anything useful huh.

zuku good job getting it done

because that involves me taking off my own oil line and figuring out the size? potentially breaking something and making an oil mess to be "nice" and "helpful" is just FUCKTARDED

you want to be a fucktard and do that, go ahead

if he wanted to know badly himself, he could've just done it himself like he's finally done
furthermore, the way he described his setup is different than what the pics above shows, so either he was looking at it wrong or someone changed his oil line out before

just let this ******* thread die already
the problem has been solved! get on with life instead of whining

i'm changing my turbo to a journal style this weekend. What is the size of the oil line inlet feed so I can adapt it?
