I removed all of the pieces that I was going to paint, I sanded all of them down, and then used Krylon Fusion to paint them with. Fusion is made especially for plastics, it requires no primer or sanding, but I sanded it anyway. Once I got a good coat of paint on it I sanded it down smooth and put a few coats of clear coat. The paint is a pretty good match but it's not exactly the same color as the car. The color of the car has a little bit more of an orange tint to it but it is close enough for me. The main thing is to let them dry really good to keep from scratching or damaging the finish. I didn't get it completed and re-assembled for about 7 days.
