well, remember playing that game when you were a kid, called telephone? it's when one person starts off by saying something and then it goes down the line by wispering it into the other persons ear and you have to try and remember the story and not change anything. Well usually by the end person, the story is all messed up. Kinda same thing here, but with less people.
Or could just be faulty chinese watches. lol

Here you go! Hopefully this leads you in the right direction, and a car spin for me!(godown) Hehe, anyways he is one of the links I found followed by a passage from it...

i think in total was something like 23K for the stock car/mods and another 2500 for management system and tuning help from a professional. Its wierd in hong kong in that everything is so damn cheap here. Here's my 3 favorites:

1)cars/parts
2)video games/electronics
3)Women

New Hampster... the "Live Free or Die" state... hahaha.

Bringing over a skyline is a b**** as many many people will tell and most dont want to risk the loss, much less pay for something they cant drive at will.
You mentioned you didn't care if it was only a track car. You will need a Broker to write up the Bond, Tax, Duty, Freight, and present to Customs because the Value is over $2000.
If you have a Good Broker that knows how to work the system, you can bring your baby over all in one piece.

Simple problems like Tires and emisions can be passed easy in states that dont require constant testing... Hence... bring over a Silvia, drop in a KA and register it as a 240SX, then re-drop the SR! (silly) ... suprissed some of you Mazda guys haven't tried bringing over the 99+ RX-7.

Many many loop holes in the system,... do the reseach and have a Broker with balls... the best information you can get is from a Broker...
Enjoy...

Peace
Drew

No, i figured out the last time i went. Its just that the chinese arent so good with measurements. It advertises as a 1/4 mile, but its closer to 3/16th's of one. i used one of those surveyors wheels that measures distance.

Just stupid measurements, which is what explains the fact that stock proteges (323's here) run in the 13's... whoops

i know... its for 2 reasons:
1) the loophole they used was closed a while ago with the gov't.
2) They had about 3,000 interested buyers with an office staff of about 4 people, one being abroad searching for suitable cars. Seriously, didnt they know this would happen? how many rich bastards wouldnt pay to get a car like that over here just to say they have one? The answer is a shitload, and now it screwed them right in the ass. (chair)

Can you get some updated pics? Front, dash, engine bay, back seat, trunk.
Thanx!!!(guitar)
