It's a bit akward at first and every now and then, but overall, I'm glad I did it.

i was just thinking....what if...you use an orange EL strip instead of the bulb in there...then use some kind of filter so the strip looks black when no light is on, but when light is on, it will pass through full color. then just shave over that hole and figure out some kind of way to put the EL strip in there nicely

Replies to some......

Well today it rained and NO LEAK.......And the subs are real and yes I did factor in the wieght, thats why the box is all fiberglass, and the other picecs are like this really thin ply wood s*** about 1/4 of an inch. The lights where easy to do just follow the instructions from T3 they just pop right out. I think I would guess to say that the whole stereo including the amps and subs wieghs about 100lbs at the most, but I did take the spare out....:) I have road side asstance so If I get a flat its 1-800-mazda...he he.

Is this what i think it is?!

look at the blue circle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A CLEAR REFLECTOR PIECE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

start a group buy if you can figure out who makes em

the only info i know about it is :

1) those headlight are on a 01-03 323 sedan ( E-spec )
2) the part #s of the whole headlight assembly is

BL4G-51-0K0 right lamp, black bezel
BL4G-51-0L0 left lamp, black bezel

I dont know if anyone has connections in Europe to check these out in the Mazda dealerships or wreckyards.....

and im not sure if Mazda dealerships will allow the sale of only the piece of clear reflector in opposed to selling the whole headlight assembly.

hmm....we need to find a plastic molding company, then someone can just donate the corners and they can make them using clear plastic

Yeah, but who is gonna pay for a whole new set of headlights & shipping from Europe when they can just buy some plastic piece? The only people I can think of would be those who don't want to have to open their headlights themselves.

Hmmm.. if you read carefully again my previous posts.... i've never hinted or said anything about buying the whole headlight assembly......... all along it has been the idea of purchasing only the clear reflector...

well the headlight housing will always remain DOT approved, so your inspection won't be affected, they aren't going to crack open the headlight to check the plastic for officiality
