Pics of my car..

Nice clean... That lip sure looks dangerous ... Have you ever scraped it?

daaaaaaaammmmmmmmnnnnnnnnn tHAT LOOKS GOOD. Really I love it. I love cross laces in general. What type of wheels are those and what drop are you running? Car def. looks tight. Also I am interested in the front lip as to if you have ever scraped it while driving.

Hahahaa...Think I was just moving the bike out the way, that was a few years ago! I know better than to ride without proper gear!
Thanks for all the compliments guys!
Rims are ALT Fusion's in Titanium, 17"
Front lip is the Onderground one..scrapes everywhere! Have to take all driveways and curbs on an angle but it was cheap and I'm not to keen on its quality or fit so I wont be heartbroken if it gets busted to s***.
Engine was painted with high heat engine enamel...cant remember exactly the brand but any high temp paint should work...just make sure you lightly sand every nook and cranny so the paint will adhere. Easy mod, valve cover gasket is a nice thick rubber one so it can be re-used no problem.

whoa, did you shave your turn signal lights or did it come like that in the UK?

love the ride but i disagree with others on the engine paint. My philosophy is to keep it simple so different opinions on that. the rest is all good though =D

i like it...definate sleeper...how did you paint the flyin m?? i really like how it looks in that last pic albeit looks a little too low...

oh yeah which cbr is that?? the pics are kinda small

UK? No London Ont. Canada...Front "M" is painted the same color as the car, had a matched spray can made when I painted the front lip. M just pops off.
didnt shave the front signals...same as yours.
As for too low...never low enough! Going to get a part time business going plowing snow!LOL!
CBR is a 99 900RR...thinking about selling if anyone is interested. Only has 7400kms....still new.

MORE PICS PLEASE. I am really diggin those wheels. and after looking up the price I am even more. What offset are yours and how much are you lowered and have you had any rubbing issues? Would love to see the seats installed too. thanks. BTW love the old 7R. I used to sell Kawasaki, Yamaha, Polaris. I have always loved 7Rs. Friend used to have a 7RR of your same year. Would love to get my hands on one of those. Just solid feeling bikes, non of this new wimpy light as a feather crap... a true super bike. I am searching for a nice twin now. Either going RC51 or TL1000. Would love a Duc. but not enough funds.

how hard were the seats to install, i looked everywhere for brackets but couldn't find any so i had to have mine customally installed....here's a pic

I Had to custom fab some brackets too. if you click here again I've added some crude 3-D models of what I did... http://ca.photos.yahoo.com/blackp5ca
I seperated the Protege brackets from the protege rails...bought some angle iron "L" shape..think it was 2". I mounted the angle to the underside of the Protege brackets and the new sliders to the top of the angle...this way I maintain the stock seat height.
Next I had to make a seat belt bracket. After everything was test fit and alligned you can weld or use some good grade 8 bolts to fasten it all together. Kind of a quick description but the model might make it a bit clearer?
Nice seats by the way!

here are some pics of my brackets.. i cut the stock risers off, uses 2 in stees to connect them and bolted them together, then welded it and i also have 2 in steel cross members.......... more pics to come later tonight
