Pics of Catz 4500k/5100k HID conversion.

I am going to be picking up my Catz HID conversion kit in less than a month and right now im having trouble as to which one to pick... the 4500k or the 5100k.........

Can anyone with these kits please post up some pictures of their rides so i can compare the two?

From what i understand the 4500k kit is pure white and the 5100k has a little blue in it?

I really want to see how blue the 5100k kit is because up here where i live the cops dont like blue lighting... thats a no no..

If cops don't like it and it's such a big no no, then I think you just answered your own question. I know I don't need any extra attention, I'm doing just fine with my speeding alone. Although I have seen the 5100ks in real life and they sure as hell look good. I was thinking of going with the 6000k for looks if I could come up with the cash.

so if you look directly at the 5100k kit... its really easy to tell its BLUE blue right?

you know like the HIDs in a Lexus IS300.... they have a slight blue hue to it.... but they are not really BLUE BLUE.... get what i mean?

They were like the Lexus/BMW HIDS, although they were just a bit bluer. Not blue enough to warrant the extra unwanted attention, IMO.

So what about the 4500K kit ? How does it compare to the Lexus/BMW OEM HID?

I've only seen the 5100ks on the WRX that goes to car meets occasionally... Ask LinuxRacr how he likes his, he just installed them so his eyes would be fresh as far as the before and after comparison.

well i was just taking a look at the one on Ebay....... im not sure.... since this whole new law thing that is banning HID sales in the States....
