Well,

I think Mother Nature got even with us for the smart ass comments I made when I posted the pics of our last meet. So, sorry about that guys, I jinxed us.

Anyhow, we met up at noon today for our cruise and were promptly greeted with rain. So, being a cruise we went mobile and tried to find some sun. Little Island like this one you would think it would be easy. Um not so much.

However, while we were dampened our spirits were not. We found a nice little beach to pull off next to and had a little photo shoot. Too bad we forgot a decent photographer. Well, at least in my case.

Sorry the pics are kind of crappy. I could blame the weather, but in all honesty, it's just me. So here ya go.

Edit: Sorry I forgot to give props. The really good pic in the album of all the Pros in a line shot through the rear view is L8R's not mine. It was just such a sweet pic I saved it to my directory that I uploaded these from. Nice shot Chris.

Guess who showed up?

As if the rain were not enough, then we were invaded by what I am guessing was either a Subaru club that picked up some stragglers or part of the Toys for Tots cruise that was earlier today. Mabey a little of both.

Anyhow, we were just starting to snap picks when the throaty sounds of small block V8s and weird purr of Boxer 4s interupted our gathering.

What ensued was a very odd coupling of a lot of Scooby Doos and a few American muscle cars rolling in and setting up shop in the next parking lot over.

Don't worry it was peaceful and we out-lasted them anyhow. Unfortunately, I ended up with more pics of their cars than ours. Of course there was a hell of a lot more of them than us.

I did like the small block powered Corolla though.

We'll definitely have to have another cruise before you guys leave. Now we just need the weather to shape up. Of course it was raining in Wahiawa when I got back. Any other day it only rains on Wahiawa, the day we cruise it rains everywhere else. lol.

Yeah that was a pretty big group of cars that came in after us. When a couple of them lit it up in front of us that is when I really wished I had brought my car! Oh well, next time!

Good question. Weekends definitely seem to work best. Are sundays the best day for everyone? I would like to get one more cruise in before some of the guys have to take there cars off the road to get them ready for the show. Hopefully the weather will keep cooperating.

man i missed the meet and now the cruise!! dang, wish i made it! my car just got out of the shop that day too! but was feelin' a bit tipsy from the night before! just went home and slept after i picked my car up! i also called in sick for work! *blah* but i see it was a great turn out and some pretty good pics.!
