Picking it up tomorrow

Finally got all my paperwork delivered, I'm picking up my '06 Speed6 GT tomorrow. Been working on the deal for a month, I'm getting antsy but at least the end is in sight! Going to reread the owner's manual tonight. Also have to pick out the appropriate music to play as a first listening.

I think I will be going with "Fast Cars" by Craig David, followed by "Animal I Have Become" by Three Day's Grace, then some jazz from Mindi Abair. You know, spike it up and then smooth it out!

Congrats on your new ride..... as far as music was concerned, I had ripped a mix of Prince songs for my first ride.. took it for a nice little trip about 30 miles around central Oregon on some twistys... proud of 60 mph around a 25 mph off ramp... just love the handling on it... anyways grats again on ur new ride

She's home. This car is going to get me into trouble. It is so smooth and fast you have no idea of your speed until you look down (I know you all know what I mean). Gonna check the clutch pedal adjustment tonight to make sure it is in spec, other than that I am going to enjoy it for bit!!!

Thanks man. I feel lucky. Considering where I was financially just a few short years ago, I never dreamed I would be able to afford a car of this caliber. I am very happy that I can, and so are my kids!
