Picked up my Protege5 yesterday!

oh and hey, that's a nice BF 323, that's what I'm driving while I do my swap. Your's is much nicer though I must say.

Nah I mean yes to all of it, as in yes it's not bad on fuel or expensive.

My brother has a ZE in his '93 MX-6 and he's gotten 30mpg out of it. My dad has a ProbeGT and it does upper 20s mpg.

Thanks about my 323...it's rather unfortunate that I'll be selling it when the P5 is done. I'd love to keep it, but I don't have the space or need for 4 cars.

It looks like the 323 will do one more winter though. (2thumbs)

Took some pics today. Got the Miata parts car out(and my brother ravaged it with the fork lift, I can post those pics too lol) so it's almost time for the P5 to go in. I also hooked up a battery and sat in it and listened to the radio for a bit...got lost in the music, daydreaming about cruising around in it, then my brother opened the door and told me to get out of my engineless and titleless(in the mail) car and help him get some things done. LOL

Well, the car is sitting at my brother's shop, but it's not in his shop. His "shop" is a fenced-in space in a warehouse as you can see in the pics. No major work can be done where the car is, but we have to clear out a car or 2 before the car can have a space.

But yes I'm waiting on the title aswell. It was supposed to be mailed out Monday so it'll be here soon.

The Greddy exhaust came off of a Protege5 at the junkyard...I searched a little and found A Greddy catback online but it looks different. I'm not sure what the deal is with it, but it looks pretty sweet and the price was too right to pass it up. LOL

heated seats came on some EDM P5s

since the KL is heavier than the FS, it's more the reason you need to install the front MP3 sway bar to reduce body roll!

no, but you can ask the european members
also, since the EDM version has this s***, the buttons are located next to the e-brake... if you take off the console, you'll see an outline of where it will be cut on the backside

Well yeah I walked over to it and it says "Runs and Drives GOOD" so I used the OBDII scanner and got rid of the CEL. It idles so smooth, it's like it's not even on...so it's probably nothing. LOL

Thats about an 18" solid concrete steel reinforced column which has a foundation that go's way deep in the ground. There is no way a forklift or any car could break that sucker. You would need a wrecking ball to bring that thing down. Sorry im an architectural draftsman, so I couldn't help but to correct you. lol
