pic of this hood on a protege

hey guys i had this hood up for sale and now i've decided to keep it. but i was wondering if any of you had a pic of this hood on a protege completely painted the same color unlike the pic i have below cause we spray painted it that way to get an idea of what it'd look like. if ya have any or know of any of a mica blue with the hood please post it!

yeah i'm def gonna have to get mine painted. i love the way you have yours painted MP3Architect, and that was my original plan. do u have any more pics so i can decide whether to paint it like that or all mica blue

yeah i have the xcelerated concepts one. matthews is the apc one. i have vents. his doesn't.

right so yours is functional. that's the way mine is. i didn't know what it's called though. someone told me it was an erebuni, but the erebuni edging on the vents looks more squared off lookin at the pics...i dunno. is mine the same hood u have just fiberglassed or what? man i want a cf hood so bad! i think cf with the mica blue looks sweet! i'm thinking about having mine painted the same as yours the way me and my buddy spray painted it to get ideas, mica blue on the edges and gloss black in the middle. do u guys think that would look good? i'm lookin at the grills on ebay since i'm short on cash, and eyelids...hopefully it'll all go good with the lx bumper til i can get a msp one

i'm not familiar with any of the bodywork sold for the protege. i use to but then i got rid of my protege and i just got it back so i'm tryin to look up everything and get reaquanted <--spelling...but i didn't know what the hood was then and some guy told me it was an erebuni, the guy i bought it from said his mom bought it for him as a surprise and she tossed the receipt. all i could tell ya is it's dual vented and functional...

oh. at first i thought you had the apc hood as well. not sure what you actually have. checkout rednecksrus' p5. he has his painted the same as mine only its not carbon fiber so he just painted a plack stripe down it (oem hood i believe). it looks fantastic i think. i see evos around town with the same paint job. but i do like pulling up next to them in a parking lot and being like, nice black stripe.....but mines not a stripe. its da real deal. i dunno, whatever....but it would still look nice as painted black. people would think its carbon fiber from 100 ft away. although...i do have problems explaining to older people that the carbon fiber isnt some sort of weird paint. ever since i had the sides painted people just think i somehow painted the center of a blue hood in a strange pattern rather than painting the sides of a cf hood.

its a erubuni for what i can see on the internet. Thats cool. I havent seen anyone with that hood on these forums. Congrats for being unique. Thats hard to do sometimes.

thanks alot for the uniqueness haha. i think i am gonna plan on paintin the hood with the "black stripe" ha. and then eventually eyelids, new grill and msp or p5 bumper. do i need a new grill if i do the bumper conversion or will it match up to the p5/ msp? just curious...

That is not one of our hoods. The hard edges around the vents gives it away.
