The FMIC doesn't include a BOV application. That is normal with alot of manufacturers, BOV applications are usually put on by the customer. We know a good tig welder is hard to come by so we will do it here per your request.

No FMIC kit pics of it installed yet, I will post as soon as i recieve them...

4-8 weeks on the Perrin combo, it is being made which is the main thing. Our S pipe replacement will be sooner.

Plenty of good ones... "good" being the emphasized word.

Perrin made this FMIC to be the best one on the market. Same with TurboHoses SMIC. We can only wait until the intercoolers arrive here to see if they stand up to the manufacturers reputation.

Dr. can you please elaborate on why this Perrin FMIC is the only FMIC you are interested in? I am curious.

i've heard a lot of good things about perrin from WRX croud.
plus look at it.....it's gorgeous!
also the less connections u have, the better the flow is.
and support being included is a very big plus.

if somehow, in the near future, i will aquire 1300 bux to spend, this will be my choise.
for now, i am saving up for TurboHoses SMIC that i shall be buying from you very soon, Cullen..

There are plenty of people that make FMIC but no one are famous for doing so. And most dont have saftey in mind. I mean if Greddy was to release a front mount does it come with a bumper support? If not your car can be seriously damaged even from the slightest front end collision. Or expensive cuz your front mount is the only think solid asorbing the impact no matter how small or big the accident is. Also consider the routing and material uses. Aluminum to be light and as cullen pointed out it looks to be a pretty short routing with as less bends as possible...and that means on happy engine! The WRX and EVO guys seem to be happy with their products and service so I expect the same for the MSP. John at Perrin is a pretty active member on this board. So you can expect good quality stuff from perrin. A couple hundred more bucks and you'll probally have the best looking innercooler for the MSP. you can shop around for Innercooler but im saving up for this...I say its worth it. It just might take awhile to save up...but eventually I hope to have one. I say it worth every penny they are asking. But like cullen say they are waiting for it to arrive before truley see what it does. the only problem I would see is pressure drop...which is a problem for any front mount. But hopefully the cooler air will make up for it.

alright, someone is finally making/selling the s-pipe replacement separate...what kind of price tag are we looking at? any specs/design on it? Sorry if I missed it somewhere i read through the thread twice and didnt catch a price or if its going to have a separate wastegate section...

S-pipe replacements for the mazdaspeed protege simply don't exist, and they never will. It's all an elaborate hoax devised by Mr. Mazda himself.
