Perrin MBC on MSP?

To adjust the Perrin MBC, you have to disconnect the lines every time. With the AccuBoost, just turn the knob and lock in, much easier and quicker. Plus the AccuBoost has overboost protection, which the Perrin MBC does not. The AccuBoost has all the same features as the Perrin, plus more safety features to protect your engine and it costs less. With the GB is costs even less than that.

Forgive the shameless plug, but we just wanted to state the facts.

rocketspeed - Not trying to flame you but why don't you keep your opinions about Perrin due to your experiences with them to your thread, or start a new one in the vender review section. You've made worthless posts in at least 4 topics in the last few minutes. These are products you have no experince with, you only know about the intake.

You brought this thread back from the dead for no other reason then to flame a vender. You have a problem with their intake, it has been discussed, there is no reason why you need to seach for "Perrin" in the archives so you can vender bash. There are specific sections for that.

If anyone has it, it probably blew up their engine.

Any MSP with a boost controler blows.

That goes for MSPs on stock boost.

Make that MSPs in general. :(

MALLARD,
Thank you for the kind words. Though I feel, as you do, (that Rocketspeeds frustration should not have been taken out this way) he does have a reason to be frustrated.

Boost sciences

I will address the community with info rather then throw the second punch.(fight)

The PERRIN Performance boost controller featuring a custom wound internal spring and ceramic metering ball, increases boost accurately over bleed type valves. The use of a ceramic ball decreases weight, improving response time for a crisp wastgate transition. An additional hidden bleed port eliminates any dangerous boost spikes.

Unlike bleed type valves, the PERRIN boost controller is specifically designed to delay any pressure signal from entering the waste gate. Spool up will increase insuring more boost at lower RPM.

Our products is not a metal tube with a ball and spring. We do not use off the shelf parts. We custom machine our body from 6061 aluminum. Special internal fluting maintain ball alignment within the oversized cylinder and allow accurate airflow.
Our custom wound spring maintains ball alignment and delivers the perfect spring tension.
The outer body is anodized to prevent corrosion. And assembled with O-rings and assembly grease for an airtight seal.

Adjustment is simply made by twisting the body without the need for any tools. Alignment marks on the body allow the user to accurately make adjustments.

Questions? let me know.
