Ok so I just bought a perrin fmic with greddy type rs bov w. flange. on the perrin piping there is another flange welded to it. My question is do I get the greddy flange welded to the pipe or just connect it with silicone couplers (think thats what there called) to the existing flange. I realize this may be a dumb question but I searched and found nothing. I just want to make sure I can start the install with what I have or if I have to wait and get some things welded.
thanks for any information any one can give me I greatly appreciate it.

I am a noob but need some help before I try to start this install.
here are some pics of the flange on the perrin pipe and the greddy falnge.
so do I get it welded over the existing flange or simply get some slicone hose to connect the greddy flange to the perrin flange? thanks.

i cant see your pics but from what you described it sounds normal. the piping that comes from perrin has a piece welded on there for you to either put your bpv or bov on. if you plan on running the dual setup bpv/bov together then you will need to have your flange welded onto the piping. if youre just running a bov then you should have gotten a bov adapter instead of bov flange and that will just fit to the piece you are describing......i finally got my perrin fmic today after ordering a month and a day ago yessss

k nevermind now i see the pics......yea thats a bov adaptor im pretty sure, thatll just fit right on there and youre set. no welding required. lemmi know how your install goes....i have the flange and should be gettin it welded tomorrow, installed this weekend.

thanks for the reply. I I am going to a shop tomorrow to get the greddy flange welded on. the silicone hose in the pic fits over the flange on the perrin pipe but does not even come close to the greddy flange. So I am going to see if they can cut out the perrin flange and weld the greddy one in.

With my perrin I had the adapter welded on. That piece was used used to rec. (if i remember correctly) I can get you pics but I wont get my car back until this afternoon from the paint shop. Contact perrin to verify because you don't want to put the weld in the wrong place.

Of course if you aren't going to rec. then maybe it will work.

Here is a pic of piranas msp he has the same kit. You can see the typers bov attatched with silicone hose so I am thinking it would be ok to weld over it on the location. I am not planning to recirc but have read many threads about stalling when venting to atmosphere so I might have to do the maf relocation.

it ran me 1270 shipped through a groupe buy from street unit. I def. reccomend them as a company to buy from.
