Perrin exhaust vs. Vibrant exhaust

+1 for the vibrant. Random backfires are loud and sound great, leave the flames to the Skyline's and Supra's, and the install is not too hard if you research for a bit first. Go with Perrin when you're upgrading to the FMIC though.

I think I'm going to go witht he perrin bc I was planning on saving a little cash and getting both my exhaust and FMIC at the same time... If i wasn't getting the FMIC I would still not be sure which i'd get, but as of this point my mind is pretty much set on Perrin.(rofl)

thats fine and all.

just don't get in trouble with sound pollution and running your car without a cat. goodluck.

yeah, that combination is great, the sound and performance are great! I have been on Deuce's car and driven behind it and it sounds good as hell, Deep and just loud enough.

thank you sir! appreciate it!

I've heard great things about the vibrant, but i'm personally going to be going with a GHL Downpipe/Perrin Exhaust setup soon and swapping out my JIC for something with a bit more girth and sound.

I was, tried to sell it numerous times. Got people from all over the country to make promises, buy airplane tickets, and still get denied on financing. My new career path no longer dictates about a worry for money, so there is no point in selling it. Just going to be an addition to a new car collection and part of my family for a LONG time. Gonna "finish" her this summer hopefully if i can get some things nailed down (i.e. build my dreamhouse).

My uncle has been daytrading for years. Hasn't had to "work" in a very long time. Hmmm...

anyone have any sounds clips? or know where i can get some. after hanging with subbie guys im kinda partial to perrin in general but other than the almost neck and neck power gains between the two i kinda want to get a general idea of what they sound like

I've had the Perrin on my car for 3 months (borrowed it from a friend), and it was obnoxiously loud. I loved the power increase though. Nothing beats it. The turbo spools so easily and you really don't have to press the throttle down alot to get going. But it did rattle alot in the rear section. Perhaps better exhaust hangers would reduce the swaying. I have heard the Vibrant and it's loud too, but not as loud as the Perrin. The cat on the Vibrant is most likely dampening some of the sound.
