Performax Oil Filter Question

I got my oil changed yeterday with 5W-30 Penzoil Ultra (I have heard good things about it and thought I would give it a shot), and they were out of Mobil 1 oil filters so they put on a Performax oil filter. Has anyone used this oil filter before and are they any good? Should I be concerned with its performance if I go 5K - 6K miles before my next oil change? Let me know. Thanks!

I don't think you should be concerned about it to be honest with you, the way our cars perform you would more than likely see better results and keep your oil cleaner, just don't upgrade to a bigger filter it will drop your oil pressure and screw a lot of things up. I have never used the filter before, I just use wicks filter from o'rileys its basicly a performance filter.

Thanks, I will probably just change my own oil next time and plan on using a Napa gold filter (made by Wix)
