okay, so when i get my ms3 the first things im doing are cpe cai, and turboxs tbe. any suggestions on what to do next? another best bang for the buck mod?

okayy, so you think with the i/e and tune ill be around 280whp? ideally when im done, im looking for about 350whp or a little more

quite possibly, cobb has said they made over 300wtq on their dyno (mustang dyno...i think something like 4000 ft elevation too)

im at sea level though, would that make my numbers higher or lower? and what else did cobb have on their ms3 that they made over 300wtq?

intake/TBE and FMIC and their accessport thing. They said the FMIC really didnt gain much power, it was just more of a consistent power thing.

Sea level you would get quite a bit more. Their car dynoed 212/242 whp/wtq stock on their dyno/elevation.

Yeah some dyno types just read lower (mustang), plus their elevation im sure plays a factor too. the best way is to compare gains on the same dyno (same day would be even better).

Not on a mustang dyno. Those dyno put around -10-15% compared to dynojet. Stock, i've put 212whp 229 wtq on 91 octane on a local mustang dyno. Peeps around here get around 245 whp on dynojet. Elevation change number alot too.

Open up the intake path a little more. A decent intercooler upgrade should yield some more power. This upgrade isn't just about better cooling of the intake charge. The stock TMIC is very restrictive compared to aftermarket designs, so swapping it out is going to be a necessity eventually if you want to move some air through that engine.

yea, thats what i've heard, i was looking at the TMIC from ets. it looks real nice, but is that one of the best ones? im just looking for good quality parts, so i get good performance and reliability. i dont wanna go with junk or even worse stuff from ebay lol

and remember that changing the TMIC with another TMIC will only do so much, it is still on top of that heat billowing engine, and eventually will get heat soak also, so FMIC is the way to go

so how much is a FMIC kit gunna run me? i'd rather do that too, because i've heard they're better as well as they look cooler. and you can also get a much larger FMIC than a TMIC

FMIC is def the way to go..it just costs quite a bit more. it will yield more consistent power vs tmic (especially for drag racing or after idling a long time). its just something you gotta decide if its worth paying more for it.

well like i said, money really isnt a big deal since i love cars, but ill prob end up getting a FMIC anyways cuz it seems like a better way to go.

What about boost control? I'm a novice when it comes to most of this stuff......so admittedly I'm not sure what to expect. I've seen what turbosmart has for single & dual stage mbc.......anyone care to explain the difference and what to expect with installing mbc? Also real world gains from controlling boost?
