PERFORMANCE OR LOOKS????? which one will get your farther?

Lol you missed the drama but its all good. I posted my reply and I am leaving it at that. No drama from me.

I mod for performance, but if I can put on a part that helps performance and improves looks, that`s a bonus. Like a nice looking set of wider, lighter rims, or a pretty chrome BPV under the hood.

If you want performance just buy a Corvette, Lotus, Ferrari, lamborghini, Mustang, 1970 Barracuda and so on. To make it your own and not like everyone elses you will need to add your own style, the show.

you guys arent really fair though... for example:

a chevy aveo with 800hp, which means no show all go

OR

an NSX with 100hp, which is no go all show...

just AN EXAMPLE!!!

i prefer both but if you dont have looks, you wont get noticed for the go. women go for looks anyways, unless they were raised around car guys.

Love your avatar. lol

IMO, NSX's are not sexy.... at all.

I agree with the idea of doing mods that are both. There is definitely a fine line that you can walk where you get performance and looks. If you have money, this is really easy. Take for instance carbon fiber rims. Lightweight and dead sexy on nearly any car. IMO, rims are the first mod to make a car look good. A car can be made or destroyed by rims. If they are cleaned and the rest of the car is somewhat dirty, it doesn't matter. Hell, I think CF rims on a Pinto would even be sexy.

However, at the end of the day... I am more a performance over show. The only problem is that I find that good well built performance mods, are way more expensive than decent looking mods. Plus, when you toy with performance, the car tends to punch you right back with CEL's, and awkward idles.
