Ok, this saturday I will be taking a Police physical fitness test. (five-0)
It consists of:
Sit and Reach______________

1.5 mile run________________
13min 46sec
So far I've reached all of my goals easily but the only one i'm struggling with is the 1.5 mile run. I reached my goal yeaterday easily with 12:26

, but today under different condions I went over my time limit

I know I have what it takes.
Do you guys have any advice for me? What are things I should do the night before? What and how much should I eat/drink(the night before and morning of)? Any strategies?
I am not nor have ever been a runner so my knowledge is very minimal. Thanks for your help guys.
