They are NOT the same vehicle. The best noted differences is the extra approx. 10 hp that the MP3 came with, aftermarket suspension & stabilizers, interior and exterior body parts. There are too many to list, but the car doesnt look NOR feel anything like the LX. It's not even an automatic for gods sake.

Group of local evo guys, i was talking about the upcoming auto-x this weekend where they said they were going to eat me alive and i said i think i can hang pretty well for being fwd and n/a with half the HP, one of the guys laughed histerically and told me hes driven a protege before as a rental car, it was slow and handlked like a wet sponge. thick headed people like this urk me
